Very friendly service. Very important is price, with everything so expensive these days, it was nice to see some reasonable prices. $12 for my meal! Equally as important, very tasty food. Not much for seating to sit and eat. Seems to be more of a take out food style spot. Pic is the Flounder PO Boy meal.

AMAZING food!!! RUN do not walk, you can thank me later. The fresh, tasty seafood. I ordered trout sandwiches, fries, shrimp and scallops. So many wonderful yummy options, even Vietnamese sandwich options! I was blown away by the reasonableness of the prices considering the quality and quantity you receive. ☆☆☆☆☆

update 11/18/2024 - two years later and the food is still consistently good, they haven't gone up in price that much and you still get your food fairly quickly. The coleslaw is still over chopped in my opinion, but the flavor has gotten much better. and I just started eating pork again and tried their grilled pork Bahn mi sandwich. It was really good, the bread was soft, the meat was grilled and flavorful and plenty of pickled veggies and fresh cilantro. My first time here I ordered three piece whiting platter. It came with Three large whiting fillets, 3 large hush puppies a large portion of fries and 4oz coleslaw. I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of food I received and the platter was around $11. Everything was really great and tasted fresh. My only critique is on the coleslaw as it was bland and over chopped, but Seriously everything else was great. I will most definitely be coming back here again

Got an oyster po boy, it was so good! The oysters were crispy and delicious, and they definitely gave me more than six inches of sandwich. Still, the sandwich is so big with the bread and the oysters that it's a little hard to eat without dropping things 😅

man this food establishment is the best seafood spot in Newport News. Steam medium female crabs are $18 a dozen and they look like large females. Fried crabs the best in Newport News l travel across the MMT ( Monitor Merrimac Tunnel) to get the BEST.
